Eden Hazard has his heart set on swapping Chelsea for Real Madrid, while Juventus are looking to beat Arsenal and Chelsea to a Russian star, according to Thursday’s European papers.
CHELSEA STAR DESPERATE FOR REAL MADRID MOVE
Eden Hazard has his heart set on swapping Stamford Bridge for the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, a report claims.
According to Spanish transfer outlet Don Balon, Hazard is determined to secure a move to Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window.
They go on to add that Sergio Ramos is aware of the Belgium international’s desire to make the switch to LaLiga.
Hazard was heavily linked with a big-money move to the Spanish capital last summer, but a broken ankle ended any hope of securing a dream switch.
However, recent speculation has suggested that Real are readying a fresh bid for the 27-year-old in the next few weeks.
Chelsea’s failure to qualify for the Champions League next season may just have been the factor that made up Hazard’s mind.
Manchester City have also been linked with a £100m move for Hazard after manager Pep Guardiola reportedly made the 27-year-old Belgium forward his top transfer target.
“We have a lot of top players, players who are used to winning trophies. We will be ready next season,” Hazard said in the London Evening Standard.
“I think all of the players and the club want one thing and that’s to win the title.
“Of course we will see if we can bring in some new players. But we will be focused on winning the title.”
JUVE BATTLE ARSENAL, CHELSEA FOR RUSSIA STAR
Juventus have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal and Chelsea target Aleksandr Golovin before the World Cup gets underway.
The Serie A champions are looking to land the CSKA Moscow star, but face strong competition from the Premier League pair for the 22-year-old.
As reported by the portal Gazeta.ru, CKSA are looking to cash in on the player and are said to be ready to sell for €20million.
Juve want a deal for the player before the summer showpiece begins as Golovin’s price could sky rocket if he enjoys a decent tournament.
Golovin is regarded as the brightest young talents in Russian football and initial reports claimed that he favoured a move to England – although that may now have changed after Juventus entered the running for his signature.

SPURS, MAN UTD TO WIN RACE TO SIGN REAL MADRID PAIR
Cristiano Ronaldo has decided officially to leave Real Madrid this summer, with a move to Manchester United imminent, according to multiple reports in the European media.
The European champions have told Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes they will not satisfy his economic demands in a possible contract renewal, reports Madrid-based publication AS, leading Portuguese paper Record to claim the player’s decision to leave the Bernabeu is ‘final’ and that a return to Old Trafford is widely on the cards.
It’s claimed United have told Ronaldo he can have his favourite No 7 shirt number back – news which put current incumbent Alexis Sanchez’s nose out of joint and possibly lead to his exit.
Ronaldo is likely to cost €150m (£131m) which despite the player turning 34 next season might seem extremely steep. However, the commercial value – as well as the player’s obvious qualities – means the deal will make perfect sense for United.
United’s decision to sign Ronaldo will end their interest in his Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale – but that is likely to spell good news for Tottenham, who could now be given a relatively free run at re-signing the Wales winger.
Bale admitted following last month’s Champions League final he would look to leave this summer amid frustrations over his lack of a regular place.
And that could push him back into Spurs’ arms with Don Balon reporting that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are ready to submit an opening £60m offer to Real Madrid.
