Arsenal are looking to add to their attacking firepower, while Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to sell a young star, according to Friday’s European papers.

GUNNERS LINKED WITH SWAP DEAL

Arsenal could offer midfielder Aaron Ramsey in exchange for Roma forward Patrik Schick, according to a report.

The Wales international is set to leave the Gunners after it was confirmed he would not be signing a new deal.

The Wales playmaker was known to have been unhappy that nobody from the club had directly explained their reasons for them withdrawing the offer of a new long-term contract following months of talks.

The 27-year-old had found out via his agent before speaking out publicly on the issue last week, telling a newspaper that he was hoping “somebody will come up and tell me why” the option to stay was withdrawn.

Now, the Corriere dello Sport claims that Arsenal are ready to cash in on Ramsey, and that they are keen on Schick – a €42m signing – given the injury sustained by Danny Welbeck.

LIVERPOOL IN BATTLE FOR TOULOUSE STARLET

Liverpool are set to battle fellow Premier League side Wolves for Toulouse youngster Jean-Clair Todibo, a report claims.

That is according to La Depeche, who state that Todibo is weighing up his future amid reported interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs.

Jean-Clair Todibo,

Lyon and RB Leipzig are also believed to be monitoring the teenager, who was recently turfed out of Toulouse’s first team for delaying the signing of a professional deal.

“Toulouse offered him his first professional contract with a salary that is unprecedented in the history of the club,” the club stated.

“The player has indicated that he is still not sure about the matter and his situation. Today, Toulouse have decided to remove Jean-Clair Todibo from the 1st team.”

Todido will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season should his current club fail to agree with him on a new deal.
