One Bayern Munich star is attracting interest from a host of clubs, while Real Madrid are in for a key Liverpool and Chelsea duo, according to Thursday’s European papers.

Barcelona are firmly in the race to sign Bayern Munich star David Alaba, according to reports from Spain.

Mundo Deportivo claims that the Catalan giants are duelling with Clasico rivals Real Madrid for the signature of the 25-year-old.

A report from the Daily Mirror earlier in the week claimed that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all keeping tabs on him.

The Austrian international has been hit by a series of injuries of late, but has shown some promising signs as he recovers under new Coach Jupp Heynckes.

Those clubs were boosted in their pursuit by recent comments, as Alaba has now admitted that he may not stay with the Bavarian giants for his entire career, and could look for a new challenge.

“I am aware that this decision will come to me,” he told Austrian newspaper Kurier.

“I still feel very comfortable here, but I can also imagine taking a different path, taking the next step or looking for a new challenge.

“But I leave that decision open. I have goals for this season that I want to achieve, so there’s no room for that right now.”

Hector Bellerin has made the decision to leave Arsenal in the hopes of securing a move to Barcelona, according to a report.

Barca were linked with a move for the full-back in recent windows, however the Catalan side are no longer interested in him, Mundo Deportivo state.

With Arsenal’s recent struggles under Arsene Wenger, the £50m-rated Spaniard has decided that he wishes to try and force through a dream move to the Nou Camp.

The LaLiga leaders however reportedly have full confidence in Nelson Semedo, who they believe to be the perfect long-term option for the position.

Bellerin likely would have started the Gunners’ Europa League round of 16 first leg at San Siro against AC Milan, but he suffered a recurrence of a knee injury and didn’t board the plane with the rest of the squad.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has told Cristiano Ronaldo about a deal the club have in place to sign Thibaut Courtois, a report claims.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol state that the Spain international has told his Portuguese team-mate that Los Blancos have all but secured a deal for the Chelsea star.

In addition, he has reportedly told Real stars that Courtois is keen on the move, but it will only take place should the club fail in their bid to sign David de Gea from Manchester United.

La Gazzetta dello Sport meanwhile state that Real are also in the hunt for the signature of Liverpool star Emre Can this summer.

The LaLiga side have been observing him in recent games and are ready to step-up their pursuit of the German international.

They face competition from Juventus however, who are said to have tabled an offer to Can of around £4.5m plus bonuses to join. The former Leverkusen man has not accepted those terms yet.
