Euro Paper Talk: Bayern v Man Utd for £50m man; Real’s €100m Atleti raid
Bayern Munich will rival Manchester United for one of their top targets this summer, Neymar is fuming with PSG, while Real Madrid want Jan Oblak – all in the Euro papers.
BAYERN ENTER RACE FOR TOP MAN UTD TARGET
Bayern Munich will rival Manchester United in the race to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund this summer, claim reports in Germany.
Sport Bild claim Bayern have been monitoring the young star in recent weeks and will match any offer United make for the USA international’s services this summer.
Pulisic – already billed as America’s greatest soccer player ever – has been tipped as a target for Jose Mourinho in recent weeks and is said to be valued at around the £50m mark.
HAN KWANG-SONG ON THE MOVE
North Korean striker Han Kwang-Song could be on the move today, according to report.
Juventus, Tottenham, and Liverpool have all shown an interest in the Cagliari teenager in the past and the Sardinian side is looking to recall him from his loan spell from Perugia today.
Calciomercato say “it’s unclear whether they want to utilise him for the remainder of the season or whether this is a prelude to a bigger move”.
Earlier this month the agent of Kwang-Song Han has dismissed suggestions Tottenham had made a move for the player, but he did admit Liverpool have shown an interest in him in the past.
Sandro Stemperini told Sport Witness: “Officially, I do not have a call from Tottenham.
“There are several officials, from Germany… it’s normal that several clubs ask about him. Because he is a youngster who is playing very well, who here in Italy is being followed by Juventus, an important club. It’s normal for everyone to talk to me. But officially, from Tottenham, I do not have a call.”
Han moved to Cagliari in 2015 and became the first North Korean player to score in the Italian top flight in his second outing.
“Liverpool were seriously interested,” Stempereni added . “After he moved to Cagliari, already in an Italian club, they did not come back, no. Now I know nothing about it.”
