Manchester United have been offered the choice of three Juventus players in a swap deal for Paul Pogba, while AC Milan are ready to sell a Tottenham and Arsenal target – all in Saturday’s European papers.
MAN UTD OFFERED CHOICE OF JUVE TRIO
Juventus are reportedly prepared to offer cash plus Alex Sandro, Douglas Costa or Paulo Dybala to bring Paul Pogba back from Manchester United this summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the plan is to return Pogba to Turin just three years after his €105m switch to Old Trafford.
It is expected that any deal would cost over €100m, although Real Madrid remain keen on the France star – despite having recently forked out a fortune to sign Eden Hazard and Luke Jovic.
The report goes on to state, however, that Juve would lower the price-tag significantly by including players in an exchange deal, with options including left-back Sandro, Costa or Dybala.
Pogba spent four years at Juve and is often seen back in Turin visiting friends and former teammates, most recently last month at a party for Andrea Barzagli’s retirement.
At this stage, however, it is unclear whether the 26-year-old would favour a move back to a place he regards as “home”, or would want a new challenge in Madrid.
