Juventus scouts have been watching four stars from Liverpool and Tottenham, while Roma have dropped their interest in a forgotten former Premier League man – all in the latest European papers.
LIVERPOOL, SPURS STARS ON JUVENTUS RADAR
The Turin giants are expected to splash the cash again in January under new boss Maurizio Sarri, and it would appear that Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino may have to bat off bids for some of their star men.
Indeed, Tuttosport states that Juve officials were at Anfield watching Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Spurs trio Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.
The latter two will both be out of contract next summer and it is anticipated that they will move on, either in January for a budget fee or at the end of the season for nothing. Son, on the other hand, has a contract with Spurs till 2023 and it would take a mega bid to convince Daniel Levy to part company with one of his prized assets.
Salah, who has already played in Italy for Roma and Fiorentina, has a contract with the defending European champions till 2023 – although there have been rumours that the Egypt attacker will look for a fresh challenge if Liverpool follow up last season’s Champions League win with a Premier League title this time around.
