Liverpool have joined the hunt for a Serie A star, while Chelsea have identified an ideal attacking signing – all in Wednesday’s European papers.
LIVERPOOL JOIN HUNT FOR KULUSEVSKI
Liverpool have joined Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal in the race to sign on-loan Parma midfielder Dejan Kulusevski, according to reports.
The 20-year-old, who is on a temporary deal from fellow Serie A side Atalanta – has impressed so far this season having scored three goals and assisted five others in 14 league appearances this season.
Previous reports had suggested that Manchester United are favourites to snap him up, with Atalanta director of sports Giovanni Sartori admitting that his side could face a battle to keep the youngster at the club in the summer.
According to FCInternews, United have now made a bid of €25m for Kulusevski as Liverpool register their interest in the Swede, although Atalanta president is said to have turned the offer down due to him valuing the midfielder at €35m.
It is also claimed that Liverpool sent a scout to watch Kulusevski on Sunday as he played 90 minutes in Parma’s 1-0 defeat to AC Milan.
Both Liverpool and United are both reportedly keen to snap the player up before his value rockets in the summer.
