Sebastiano Esposito TEAMtalk

Liverpool and Man City have made offers for a brilliant 17-year-old Serie A forward, Spurs have had an offer for Edin Dzeko rejected and Man Utd are very keen on a Bayer Leverkusen man, all in the Euro papers.

LIVERPOOL, MAN CITY BID FOR STRIKER

Liverpool and Man City have submitted bids for Inter Milan wonderkid Sebastiano Esposito, according to a report in Italy.

Calciomercato say that “when it comes to young, exciting prospects in Italy, they don’t come much bigger than the Inter striker” and both English clubs have moved with “great insistence” for him.

That is the verdict from FC Inter News, who suggest that Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund are two other clubs with a big interest in Esposito.

In May Calciomercato correspondent Fabrizio Romano claimed that both Liverpool and City wanted the striker, but that Inter had taken a firm stance over the starlet’s future.

Esposito is a huge fan of Inter and playing for his boyhood club he is not keen on leaving and apparently anything besides a loan would almost be out of the question.

The 17-year-old has made six first-team appearances for Inter this season with the most notable being a 28-minute cameo against Dortmund in the Champions League where he won a penalty.
