Euro Paper Talk: Liverpool, Man Utd ask after Serie A hotshot

Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United have made contact for an Inter Milan starlet, Christian Eriksen has made a decision on his next club, and Bayer Leverkusen have lined up a replacement for Man Utd-linked Kai Havertz – according to Friday’s European papers.

LIVERPOOL, MAN UTD CONTACT MADE FOR PROMISING STRIKER

Liverpool and Manchester United are among the clubs to ask information about Inter Milan teenage striker Sebastiano Esposito over the past year – although he could be handed a long-term contract at San Siro when he turns 18, according to reports in Italy.

The Italy Under-19 international is beginning to break through into the first team at Inter after making his debut in a Europa League game last season – with more appearances following in Serie A and the Champions League this term.

Thanks to his prolific scoring record at youth level, a number of top European clubs are monitoring his situation.

FCInterNews, Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG and Borussia Dortmund have made enquiries about the striker over the past year.

A five-year contract is on the table for him to sign, but he will have to wait until after the winter transfer window, as his birthday is not until July.
