Chelsea and Manchester United are battling for an Albanian defender, while Real Madrid have named their asking price for a Prem-linked duo, according to Wednesday’s European papers.

REAL MADRID SET ASKING PRICE FOR ATTACKING DUO

Real Madrid have named a cut-price fee for a pair of Liverpool and Manchester United targets who they are looking to move on this summer, a report claims.

Following the arrivals of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Rodrygo for just under £300m already this summer, Real could be forced to sell a number of players who will see their game time drastically reduced next term.

Recent reports have suggested that Florentino Perez is now plotting a ‘fire sale’ of sorts in order to raise enough money to land one more big blockbuster name – possibly Paul Pogba.

James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Keylor Navas and Mariano Diaz have been transfer listed as they look to recoup a whopping €200million.

Another two players who Real are willing to let go of are Isco and Marco Asensio, and according to AS they are willing to part with each for €80m.

Liverpool were recently alerted to reports Asensio could be available, and Manchester United have also been credited with interest.

It was even claimed that a monumental swap deal could be on the cards as Florentino Perez is making a charge for Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, in a deal which could see Asensio go the other way.

Isco meanwhile has been strongly linked with a move to United, possibly as part of a Pogba swap deal.

Isco, who has a huge €700m buyout clause in his contract, is under contract until 2022 but Real know they are likely to get just a fraction of his release clause if they put the playmaker up for sale.

Isco has amassed 48 goals and 52 assists in 270 appearances for the Spanish capital club, and has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea in recent months.
