Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all on alert over Moussa Dembele’s future at Lyon, while West Ham have been offered two Inter Milan stars, according to Friday’s European papers.
MAN UTD, SPURS, CHELSEA ON ALERT AFTER MOUSSA DEMBELE DEVELOPMENT
Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea have all been handed a big boost in their bid to sign Lyon striker Moussa Dembele.
The former Fulham and Celtic frontman has been strongly linked with a return to England, with Chelsea leading the chase for his signature as they look to offload veteran Olivier Giroud.
And it would appear that Dembele could be up for grabs before the transfer window closes on January 31, with Lyon reportedly striking a loan deal with a €20million (£17m) obligation to buy with Villarreal for forward Karl Toko Ekambi.
Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas has previously stated the 23-year-old Dembele was going nowhere this month, but that stance may now change if Ekambi completes his move.
United and Spurs are also chasing a new central striker, with the former still to replace Romelu Lukaku at Old Trafford, while Jose Mourinho needs a replacement for Harry Kane who is potentially out for the rest of the season.
