Manchester United have seen their transfer hopes dashed by a Napoli star, while Arsenal and Chelsea have been given hope of a shock deal for a global superstar, according to Sunday’s European papers.

NEYMAR LEARNING ENGLISH AS HE DREAMS OF LONDON MOVE

Neymar has reportedly told friends he wants to one day play for Arsenal or Chelsea after it was claimed he “loved” London.

The £200m-rated superstar is regularly linked with a move to Manchester United, but it now seems he would turn his back on a move to Jose Mourinho’s side in favour of joining either the Gunners or the Blues.

Reports in Spain, as carried by the Sunday Express, even claim Neymar is actively taking English lessons to prepare him for a future move to the Premier League.

The Brazil forward joined PSG last summer for a world-record fee of €222m and while he will stay in Paris for at least one more season, a future move cannot be ruled out for the 26-year-old.

While Chelsea or Arsenal might not have the global appeal that United have, reports that the player wants to live in London could provide hope that a deal could one day be finalised.

LIVERPOOL’S LUNIN PLAN

Spanish paper Marca claim Liverpool had a summer plan to sign young goalkeeper Andriy Lunin and loan him out.

The report suggests Liverpool tried to sign the highly rated keeper from FC Zorya Luhansk and had a plan, with an agent to loan him out to Las Palmas.

The 19-year-old Ukrainian looked set to sign for the Anfield club for €5million before Real Madrid came knocking for the player.

Lunin eventually signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid for a a reported initial fee of €8.5million and have since loaned him out to Leganes.
