Euro Paper Talk: Real Madrid offer Man Utd pick of €255m quintet in Pogba swap

Barcelona are desperate to sign two forwards in a potential €300m+ swoop, while Real Madrid have offered a swap deal for Paul Pogba, according to Sunday’s European papers.

REAL MADRID ACCELERATE POGBA PURSUIT

Manchester United have been offered five names by Real Madrid in order to get a swap deal for Paul Pogba over the line, according to a report.

Madrid are set for a busy summer having fallen well short of their targets this season, finishing third in La Liga and being eliminated in the Champions League Round of 16 by Ajax.

Chelsea star Hazard is largely expected to arrive at the club, having already informed the Blues about his intentions, and Pogba is seemingly a major target for them too.

The report states that Real are looking to bring down the price tag on Pogba, who is already set for a massive wage cut at United due to their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

And in doing so, Los Blancos want to trim some money off their own wage bill, and have let United pick from five players in an attempt to strike a deal.

Gareth Bale is one of the names mentioned, as is midfielder James Rodriguez who looks set to be moved on this summer.

The other three names are defender Theo Hernandez, goalkeeper Keylor Navas and playmaker Isco, however the latter is still rated by Zinedine Zidane and would feature more frequently next season.

Reports in the Spanish press suggested that Bale has been made available for loan instead of a permanent transfer this summer, and that would cost just £5million, while recent reports have suggested a permanent deal would cost €70m.

Isco has been reported to have a €100m price tag, meanwhile James Rodriguez continues to be linked with a €55m move to the Premier League, and Hernandez is expected to cost €30m.
