Euro Paper Talk: Man Utd face frustration as key target is offered to Prem rivals; PSG star plots huge transfer U-turn

Real Madrid are ready to step up their attempts to land a Chelsea star, while Neymar has his heart set on a sensational future move, according to Wednesday’s European papers.
REAL MADRID GO ALL OUT FOR CHELSEA STAR
Real Madrid will offer one of their forwards as bait in an attempt to land a Chelsea star this coming January, a report claims.
Eden Hazard, who has spoken of his daily quandary over his future, recently teased at the possibility of a future move to Real Madrid.
It was put to Hazard that to win the Ballon d’Or – as the world’s best player – he would have to play in Spain.
“That’s why I want to go, maybe,” said Hazard, who was smiling.
Asked if that move might happen in January, Hazard said: “No.”
Now, Spanish outlet OK Diario claim that Los Blancos will offer former Spurs man Gareth Bale to Chelsea in a bid to prise Eden Hazard away.
It is believed that Real will attempt to trim their wage bill to facilitate Hazard’s arrival, and offering Bale allows them to do that.
However, there are doubts about whether the Blues would be willing to take on his huge £350k-a-week (after tax) wages.
Manchester United have also been linked with the Welshman, and when Bale said in the immediate aftermath of the match that he needs to playing more often and would need to consider his future at the Bernabeu, Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda told OK Diario that United lodged a €222.5m bid the very next day.
Meanwhile, a conflicting report from Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Hazard will sign a contract extension with Chelsea.
