One of two major Tottenham targets is being tipped to be sold by Roma in 2020, while Barcelona have decided to switch PSG targets, according to Friday’s European press.

Two major Tottenham targets are being tipped to leave Roma in 2020 after the club’s failure to secure Champions League football last season.

La Repubblica reports that one of Cengiz Under or Nicolo Zaniolo will be sold to balance the books of the Serie A club.

Under was not believed to be a major target for Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino over the summer, despite reports to the contrary, but Zaniolo was very much on the Argentine’s radar.

The report goes on to add that Roma will need to recoup €60m for one of their top stars, with Under having also been linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea.

As for Spurs’ hopes of launching another bid for Zaniolo in January, that will depend on whether they can offload the likes of Victor Wanyama – who failed to seal a move to Club Brugge on transfer deadline day.
