Euro Paper Talk: Barcelona leave door wide open for Liverpool, Man Utd to snatch £53m sensation; Tottenham ready to pair Luis Enrique with £48m LaLiga forward

Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag, Liverpool and Man Utd

Liverpool and Manchester United have been given a lift in their summer pursuit of a Barcelona sensation, while Thursday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Tottenham will look to follow up the potential appointment of Luis Enrique as their new manager with the capture of a £48million LaLiga winger.

KLOPP, TEN HAG RECEIVE ANSU FATI TRANSFER BOOST

Barcelona are reportedly ready to change their approach to top Liverpool and Manchester United target Ansu Fati, which could open the door to a big-money summer deal.

The Catalan giants will have to sell this summer due to their financial situation. However, it was always thought that an exit for promising attacker Fati was off the table.

The 20-year-old is widely considered as one the top young talents in world football. However, given the speculation over his future and Barca’s money troubles, Fati’s performance levels have dipped this season.

Indeed, the player has hardly featured under Xavi this season and is someone who could easily be moved on for a decent transfer fee.

Recent reports suggested that Barcelona could be ready to do business at around €60million (£53m). And with Xavi looking to add to his squad, he knows that players will have to be moved on first.

Loan move a potential option for Fati

Relovo reports that a loan move cannot also be ruled out, although the player himself is not keen on that.

In some ways that is the perfect scenario for Barca, with Fati getting more game time while also putting himself in the shop window to other clubs.

Whether Liverpool or United would be open to option remains up for debate, especially if they can land a top talent for that sort of money.

Fati has scored 25 goals in 95 appearances for Barca since making his debut back in 2019.

The attacker has also won seven caps for Spain, scoring twice.
