A top Chelsea target reaches out to Arsenal over a move elsewhere in London, while another Serie A side overtake Roma in the hunt for a Man Utd defender – all in the latest Euro Paper Talk.
CHELSEA TARGET REACHES OUT TO ARSENAL?
Chelsea left-back target Sergio Reguilon is “flirting” with Arsenal as speculation mounts over his future, according to a report.
The 23-year-old Spaniard is on loan from Real Madrid at Sevilla, who remain in the hunt for Europa League glory.
However, his future thereafter is unclear; Sevilla reportedly want another deal but there is strong interest from Chelsea.
The Blues are after a new left-back, with manager Frank Lampard unwilling to keep Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri as his long-term options.
Reguilon himself has dismissed speculation about his future, insisting he is fully focused on the Europa League.
According to CalcioNapoli24, though, the Spaniard “flirts” with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
The source adds that, contrary to previous reports, Napoli have made no contact with Reguilon’s representatives.
In any case, CalcioNapoli claims that Madrid president Florentino Perez will not accept anything less than €25million (£22.5million) for the full-back’s sale.
