Tottenham have been offered a chance to re-sign Christian Eriksen and are also keen on an exciting Sporting Lisbon attacker, while Man Utd have hit a problem over their bid for a €60m-rated winger, according to Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk.
TOTTENHAM EYE JOVANE CABRAL, OFFERED ERIKSEN
Jose Mourinho is reported to have targeted Sporting Lisbon attacker Jovane Cabral.
The Cape Verde winger emerged through the ranks at the Portuguese club and has been earmarked by Mourinho as a star of the future.
Now reports in Portugal claim the Spurs boss has asked about a deal for the 22-year-old.
Cabral is contracted to Sporting until 2023 but a sizeable offer could tempt them to cash in.
The player, valued at around €25m, scored six goals and created three more in 16 league outings last season.
Mourinho is looking to bolster his attacking options this summer and is also looking at Bournemouth’s Josh King as an option.
Meanwhile, reports in Italy claim a familiar face could be headed back to the Premier League this summer.
As per il Corriere dello Sport, Inter Milan are willing to cash in already on Christian Eriksen.
The Dane arrived after a long, protracted chase in January. He signed a deal to 2024 worth €10m a season.
However, Eriksen has been in and out of Antonio Conte’s side and has struggled to hit top form.
As such, il Corriere reckon Inter are willing to listen to offers for him in the region of €20m. Furthermore, they state they have even contacted a number of Premier League clubs, including Spurs, to find a buyer.
Claims that Inter are looking to sell the Dane so soon would come as a surprise. However, they were linked with Leeds target Rodrigo de Paul on Tuesday, further hinting that Eriksen’s face may not fit.
