Dejan Kulusevski, Sweden

Manchester United are ready to make a fresh move for a talented Swedish star who is admired by director of football John Murtough, Sergio Aguero has decided his next club, while Thursday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Mikel Arteta is desperate to bring a Sevilla midfielder to Arsenal.

Manchester United are ready to launch a fresh bid to sign Dejan Kulusevski this summer, according to a report.

United were keen on the Sweden winger last summer after impressing on a season’s loan with Parma. However, that form also alerted Juventus and it was they who sealed his signing in a €30m deal from Atalanta.

The move to Turin, however, has not had the impact it was hoped. Kulusevski has featured 37 times for the Old Lady this season, but has registered just five goals and one assist.

And while the 20-year-old is seen as one for the future, United are set to offer Juventus their money back. According to Calciomercato, the Red Devils are poised to forward a new €30m bid for the Swede. The move is being backed by United’s newly-appointed director of football John Murtough.

He apparently is a big fan of the Kulusevski and is keen to add him to their playing ranks.

Juventus, though, do plan to resist United’s approach. However, with finances tight at Juve and with the player not quite having the expected impact, they may consider his sale.

They need to reduce their overheads this summer and could lose the likes of Paulo Dybala. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata are also the subject of speculation over their future.

Kulusevski is comfortable on the right wing or in a No 10 role and is reportedly viewed as the perfect recruit by Murtough.
