Euro Paper Talk: Klopp masterminds two free-transfer deals with Liverpool regulars dumped; details emerge of mammoth €85m Man Utd move

Baptiste Santamaria, Kamada Daichi - Freiburg v Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga

Liverpool are nearing deals to sign two Bundesliga stars on free transfers, Chelsea are plotting a move to sign a Valencia talent, while Monday’s Euro Paper Talk reveals details of a staggering €85m offer from Manchester United.

KLOPP POSITIONS LIVERPOOL TO SIGN FRANKFURT DUO ON FREE TRANSFERS

Liverpool are emerging as ‘strong favourites’ to sign two Eintracht Frankfurt stars destined to leave the club as free agents this summer.

The Reds have fallen off their lofty perch this season and will finish the season without any silverware. Worse yet, they also face a tough battle to secure a top-four finish with Jurgen Klopp’s side now eighth with just 12 wins from their 29 matches played.

As a result, Klopp accepts that a major rebuilding of his side is needed come the summer.

To that end, the club will make as many as five new signings to try and freshen things up. And there could also be a number of high-profile departures too, with exits for Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita as good as confirmed.

However, more could follow the trio out the door as Klopp looks to rebuild his squad for next season.

To kickstart his revolution, the German is planning to raid his homeland for two of the Bundesliga’s top talents.

And the signing of the pair will not cost Liverpool a penny with the players in question both eligible for free transfers this summer.

First up, Liverpool reportedly plan to push through the signing of French defender Evan Ndicka.

The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s best centre-halves while at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Arsenal are also keen on Ndicka, but it appears a move to Anfield looks the likely outcome.

Liverpool ‘strong favourites’ to add Kamada and Ndicka

As if losing one player on a free wasn’t enough, reports in Germany now claim Liverpool are also emerging as strong favourites to sign Daicha Kamada too.

The Japanese playmaker is also out of contract this summer and available to move without a fee. He boasts an impressive 63 goal  contributions (37 goals and 26 assists) from 169 appearances since his move from Sagan Tosu in summer 2017.

That record of a goal involvement every 2.6 appearances makes him a huge favourite among the Frankfurt fans.

As a result, his exit will hit the club hard, proving a bitter pill for the club to swallow.

And while his they still held hopes of extending his stay, Bild now reports they have reluctantly accepted his exit is inevitable.

Listing Liverpool among the favourites, the Reds will seemingly battle Bayern Munich for his signature. West Ham are also keen but the Londoners are considered big outsiders for his signing.

However, there is a growing feeling Kamada will follow Ndicka to Anfield with two men swapping the River Main for the River Mersey.

The arrivals of the pair will reportedly convince Klopp to part with two other established Liverpool stars.

And it seems Joel Matip will be on his way once Ndicka signs. The 31-year-old could ironically move to Frankfurt as a replacement for Ndicka.

The capture of Kamada, meanwhile, will definitely spell the end for Oxlade-Chamberlain. The former Arsenal man has appeared in 13 games of late, coming more back into favour in recent weeks. That had led to speculation he could be offered a new deal. However, it seems Klopp has been convinced that a parting of ways is in the best interests of all parties.
