Euro Paper Talk: Liverpool line up bid for striker with prospect of £35m fee falling

Liverpool are lining up a bid for a striker whose asking price could drop, while Everton’s plan to complete a double deal is revealed – all in the latest Euro Paper Talk.

LIVERPOOL CONSIDER MILOT RASHICA BID

Liverpool are considering a move for Werder Bremen striker Milot Rashica in the upcoming transfer window, according to reports.

Previous reports have suggested that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp ordered club scouts to watch the 23-year-old in action, while the player’s agent has revealed the £35million fee for his services.

According to German publication Bild, Liverpool are weighing up a summer move for Rashica and there is a chance his asking price could fall.

Bremen sit in the relegation zone in the Bundesliga table and, depending on whether the season will be allowed to carry on after its postponement, the club could lower that fee if they are relegated.

Rashica, a Kosovo international with 25 caps for his country, moved to the German top flight from Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in January 2018 and scored one goal in his first half-season with Bremen.

The winger, who can also play up front, netted 12 goals last term and has 10 – along with four assists – this campaign.
