Euro Paper Talk: Liverpool’s Salah exit plan clear with offer readied for explosive replacement
Liverpool have an explosive plan in mind if Mohamed Salah decides to leave, while an Arsenal star goes public with an exit plea – both in all the latest Euro Paper Talk.
REDS FIND SALAH REPLACEMENT
Liverpool will target a move for former Red Luis Suarez if Mohamed Salah leaves Anfield, according to a report.
Salah has proved to be one of manager Jurgen Klopp’s best signings since his 2015 appointment. The Egyptian has scored 122 goals in 196 games, maintaining his form this term. Indeed, while Klopp’s men have largely dropped off this season, Salah has still managed to net 28 goals in all competitions.
However, uncertainty continues to swirl over his future. He will have two years left on his contract this summer, but links with Real Madrid and Barcelona remain.
In fact, Salah has opened up on the possibility of moving to Spain on two occasions this season.
As such, Deportes Cuatro claims that Liverpool will make an offer for Atletico Madrid striker Suarez if their star man leaves.
Jurgen Klopp downplays Mohamed Salah Liverpool substitution
Jurgen Klopp insists there is no problem with Mo Salah at Liverpool after the forward was substituted early against Chelsea.
Suarez became another firm Anfield favourite during his time at the club. He netted 82 goals in 133 games, before filling up his trophy cabinet at Barcelona.
Despite not getting any younger, though, he has still managed 19 goals in 26 La Liga games for Atletico this season.
While Suarez currently wants to stay in the Spanish capital, there is no clause preventing his exit this summer.
Furthermore, David Beckham’s Inter Miami are firmly in the hunt for him.
