Euro Paper Talk: Man Utd to submit offer within a week for Ten Hag favourite after agent meeting; Liverpool need €50m to sign Serie A ace

Manchester United are zoning in on Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana by meeting his agent and plotting an imminent bid, while Liverpool have learned an asking price for a Juventus star, and a Bayern Munich player has picked four potential next destinations – all in Friday’s Euro transfer gossip.
MAN UTD HOLD ONANA MEETING AND PREPARE BID
The agent of Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana has been in Manchester to explore a move to Man Utd for his client, it has been revealed.
Onana is one of the main goalkeepers Man Utd are looking at as they consider replacing David de Gea. The 27-year-old stood out in the Champions League final despite being on the losing side, but could leave Inter after just one season.
The Nerazzurri need to raise funds by selling players, making Onana a likely candidate for a move. He arrived on a free transfer from Ajax last summer, so anything they make by selling him is profit.
Man Utd could be his takers, which would allow him to reunite with his former Ajax manager, Erik ten Hag.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Onana’s agent has held talks with Man Utd directors. It is now up to the Premier League club to make a bid to Inter.
Di Marzio has warned that Inter will be asking for a transfer fee of up to €50m for Onana. However, according to an update from La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Man Utd are some way short of the asking price at present.
It has been suggested that Man Utd don’t intend to go above €30m with their bid for the goalkeeper. That said, they may stretch their offer to €40m.

Some clarity about the actual value of their bid should follow soon. It is claimed by La Gazzetta that Man Utd will lodge their opening offer by the end of the month – or within a week, in other words.
That way, they will be able to assess their chances of signing Onana before De Gea’s contract expires.
There is a sense that whatever Man Utd do put on the table could be tempting for Inter – who have identified Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili as Onana’s potential replacement – to accept.
Onana made 41 appearances for Simone Inzaghi’s side this season, only conceding 36 goals. In total, he kept 19 clean sheets, including eight from 24 appearances in Serie A.
Deemed to be better with the ball at his feet than De Gea, the former Barcelona academy player could be a better fit for how Ten Hag wants to set his side up.
