Tottenham are to take their summer spending through the €200m barrier with four explosive deals in the works, Arsenal are eyeing a shock double raid on Man City, while Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims a €35m defender has expressed a wish to join Liverpool.

TOTTENHAM TRANSFERS EXPLODE INTO LIFE WITH DOUBLE LA LIGA RAID

Ange Postecoglou is ready to take his Tottenham’s summer transfer business on to the next level with a quadruple deal on the cards, per various reports.

The Aussie coach is the man chosen by Daniel Levy to oversee a return to the upper echelons of the Premier League. And after a turbulent 2022/23 campaign, the Tottenham supremo is preparing to back his new manager with some cold, hard transfer cash.

The north Londoners have already swooped to bring in James Maddison (£40m) and Guglielmo Vicario (£14.5m). They have also turned Dejan Kulusevski’s loan spell into a permanent deal from Juventus. Those three deals alone have seen Spurs spending soaring towards the £90m.

Now a double raid on Spain is being lined up to take the club to the next level.

And according to AS, Tottenham are ready to make a fresh bid to tempt Sevilla into the sale of Yassine Bounou.

The Andalusian club are under pressure to sell some of their prized assets in the wake of big financial worries. To that end, they have already rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr for Bounou.

However, they suggest the Moroccan has no interest in a move to the Middle East and prefers a switch to the Premier League instead. With a route to one-time suitors Manchester United now closed down, AS believes Tottenham are ready to make their move.

A fee of €20m (£17.05m) will be enough to sell the 32-year-old who is contracted to the club until 2025.

And while Vicario is also on their books, Postecoglou wants a more experienced name to succeed the departing Hugo Lloris.

Spurs want Veiga to join Soloman and Bounou after Van de Ven breakthrough

He could be joined at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by Gabri Veiga, per Le10 Sport.

The Spain U21 midfielder will leave Celta Vigo if any club triggers his €45m (£38.3m) exit clause with Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle and Liverpool among those keen.

But reports in France claim it is Spurs who are to make the first official approach. Postecoglou reportedly wants Veiga in a three-man midfield alongside Maddison and Yves Bissouma.

Before either Bounou or Veiga sign, however, Tottenham will first push through a deal for Micky van de Ven.

The Wolfsburg defender is one of two defenders on Postecoglou’s radar this summer, alongside Edmond Tapsoba.

Now Fabrizio Romano now reports that ‘positive talks’ means an agreement is close for the Dutchman.

He tweeted: “Tottenham are advancing in talks with Wolfsburg for Micky van de Ven. Told the agreement between clubs is now close. #THFC negotiations are underway and talks on Monday were really positive, waiting for key details.”

The Dutch defender was recorded as the Bundesliga’s fastest defender last season, and will reportedly cost €35m (£30m).

First up, though, Tottenham are on the cusp of announcing the signing of Israeli winger Manor Soloman.

He impressed while on loan at Fulham last season but has opted instead to join Spurs. Having already undergone a medical, the 23-year-old will reportedly sign a four-year deal at the club.

All four deals will take Tottenham’s summer spending through the £175m barrier.

However, it still remains to be seen if Tottenham will retain the services of Harry Kane, amid claims PSG are now making a big push to sign him.
