Tottenham are ready to spend their entire Harry Kane windfall on two Inter Milan stars, Liverpool are to go big in the chase for a brilliant Atalanta talent, while Tuesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims a second Bayern Munich player wants to join Marcel Sabitzer at Manchester United.

SPURS MAKE BIG PLANS FOR DOUBLE INTER MILAN RAID

Tottenham are ready to make a fresh push to sign Lautaro Martinez this summer as a replacement for Harry Kane.

The north London side are gearing up for what could be the most traumatic season in their recent history. Their hunt for a new top-class manager is already underway and the new coach will be charged with overseeing helping Spurs recover from a turbulent season.

However, whomever the new incumbent will be, they may well have to do so without the services of club legend Harry Kane.

Indeed, with a year left on his deal come the summer, there is a growing feeling that Kane is tempted by one final career challenge. And with the player failing to win a trophy during his 13 seasons in the Spurs first team, that is an itch he now feels a needs to scratch.

As a result, and in light of his contract situation, there is a growing feeling that Kane will be sold to Manchester United.

Clearly that sale would hurt Daniel Levy a lot, and the exit of the club talisman would cut deep. To that end, the Spurs chairman will likely demand a fee of around £100m for the star.

Replacing his goals will be far from easy for Tottenham either. Yet reports from Italy claim Tottenham are already well underway to finding his successor.

And according to InterLive.it, the man Levy is targeting is Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez.

The 25-year-old striker has netted 93 goals in 223 games for Inter during his five seasons at the club. And with 120 career notches to his name, certainly knows his route to goal.

It is not the first time Tottenham have moved for him either. Indeed, they saw a €90m swoop for the 48-times capped star fail back in 2021.

However, Inter’s financial problems means a deal in the region of €80m will likely now be accepted. The Nerazzurri are through to the Champions League semi-finals, where they face AC Milan. However, they are in serious danger of missing out on a return to the competition next season.

And unless they enjoy an upturn in their Serie A fortunes, or win this season’s competition, they seem certain to miss out.

That will mean some big-name stars will have to leave – with Martinez potentially up for grabs to help with a squad rebuild.

He is not the only Inter star that Levy and Co are chasing this summer either.

And according to multiple reports, they are also chasing Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana too.

The Cameroon star, 27, only moved to the San Siro back in 2022.

Rated in the €40m bracket, he has very quickly established himself as one of the best around.

Now Tottenham are reportedly targeting the keeper as an upgrade for Hugo Lloris, who is in the final throes of his time at Spurs.

The devastating double raid will set Tottenham back a combined €120m. But conveniently, that £106m fee is around the price they hope to sell Kane for.

Inter also hope the sale will allow them to reinvest in their squad, but also retain the services of Denzel Dumfries and Nicolo Barella; the latter of whom is a big target for Liverpool.
