Euro Paper Talk: Tottenham talks over sensational double deal with unwanted star used as bait; Mourinho return to Chelsea ON as big Roma issue emerges

Tottenham are in the running to sign two huge names – and could land one on the cheap as part of a tempting swap, talk is growing louder that Jose Mourinho is heading for a third spell as Chelsea boss, while Wednesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Aston Villa are tracking a Real Madrid midfielder.
MARCELO BROZOVIC SET FOR TOTTENHAM MOVE AS PART OF SWAP DEAL
Tottenham are reportedly set to hold talks with Inter Milan over a deal to sign Marcelo Brozovic – and a Spurs star is set to move the other way to help facilitate the transfer.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte has been allowed to spend well over £200m since taking charge 15 months ago. In that time, 12 new players have arrived at the club, including two central midfielders in Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma.
Mali international Bissouma, however, has struggled to find his best form under Conte. Indeed, a report on Tuesday suggests the Tottenham boss is in the market for an upgrade and is considering a swoop on Liverpool that would wound Jurgen Klopp.
However, reports in Italy claim Conte is more likely to turn to a familiar face in Croatian star Brozovic. Indeed, he played under the Italian’s tutelage during their time together at the San Siro. And now Interlive.it claims a reunion could be on in north London.
Per the article, Brozovic is ready to leave Inter following a frustating season. He’s been limited to just seven starts in Serie A and is now deemed ‘disposable’ by coach Simone Inzaghi.
Both Barcelona – if they can offload Franck Kessie – and Tottenham are keen – but it is Conte who seemingly leads the chase.
And it’s suggested that an offer of just £22.2m (€25m) will be enough to seal the deal. Alternatively, Inter are also reportedly willing to accept just £8.88m (€10m) along with Japhet Tangana as part of a swap.
The 23-year-old is down Conte’s pecking order, having made just four appearances this season.
Tottenham also want Ansu Fati alongside Marcelo Brozovic
Tottenham, meanwhile, are also in the mix to sign Ansu Fati this summer, amid claims he is to leave Barcelona.
The Blaugrana are extremely well blessed for attacking options with Raphinha, Ousmane Dembele, Fati and Ferran Torres competing for places alongside Robert Lewandowski.
However, it seems Fati will be allowed to leave this summer if a sizeable offer comes in, reports La Vanguardia.
The Spain winger has recently been linked with Manchester United again, but it now seems a move to Spurs is more likely.
And with Barcelona making suitors aware of Fati’s availability, Tottenham will reportedly compete for his signature.
The 20-year-old has 25 goals and six assists from 89 appearances for Barca.
Still only 20, he reportedly favours a move to the Premier League should he leave the Nou Camp.
