Everton boss Silva chasing England star, Belgium striker for loan moves

Everton are chasing the loan signing of either Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea this summer, a report claims.

Marco Silva has yet to make a signing as Toffees boss and as he oversees a change to 4-3-3, the Portuguese coach is looking to Stamford Bridge for reinforcements.

The Mirror claims Everton are keen to take either England star Loftus-Cheek or Belgium striker Batshuayi on loan.

Premier League rules don’t allow clubs to simultaneously take more than one loan from another team so Silva would have to choose one or the other.

Loftus-Cheek is also wanted back at Crystal Palace, where the 22-year-old spent last season. One thing seems clear: the England international needs to leave Chelsea.

Batshuayi also spent much of the last campaign away from west London, with the centre-forward moving to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Silva is reportedly waiting to hear if either players feature in the plans of new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.
