Everton are reportedly ready to make a summer move to try and land highly-rated Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen.
The attacker was outstanding in what was a difficult campaign for the Tigers, scoring 15 goals as he won the Players’ Player and Fans Player of the Year awards.
Those performances have not gone unnoticed, particularly where former Hull boss Marco Silva is concerned after he took over at Goodison Park.
Silva has been told to sell before buying at Goodison Park, with one major star already tipped to leave, but a report in the The Sun claims that he will still push ahead and table a £12million offer for the 21-year-old.
Jarrod started just one game and came off the bench six times during Silva’s time in charge at The KCOM, but clearly impressed the Portuguese enough to try and snap him up.
For their part, Hull are desperate to keep the player, who has another two years left on his contract with a further 12-month option to extend the deal.
Jarrod, though, is said to be keen to return to the Premier League and the report goes on to state that the Tigers are prepared to do business if any potential suitors cough up the right money.
Hull boss Nigel Adkins will have to work to a stricter budget over the summer, with as many as 11 players moving on before the season starts, as the club’s parachute payments from their Premier League relegation start to diminish.
