Rachid Ghezzal: A man in demand

Lyon’s Rachid Ghezzal is still attracting strong interest from the Premier League despite rejecting a move to Everton over the summer.

According to France Football, Everton are reportedly ready to return for the 24-year-old in January, where he will be able to discuss a potential free transfer ahead of next summer.

However, the Toffees are not the only Premier League to have retained an interest in the Algerian, with Arsenal and Leicester both said to be monitoring his situation with Lyon.

Ghezzal has already rejected a new three-year deal with the Ligue 1 club, although Lyon officials are still confident they can retain his services beyond the end of the current season.

The Liverpool Echo have suggested new Everton director of football, Steve Walsh, is a huge admirer of Ghezzal, while Arsenal have also reportedly shortlisted the wide man.
