Burnley striker Andre Gray has reportedly demanded a new contract worth £100,000 a week, amid reports he is being chased by both Everton and Tottenham.
Gray scored 10 times in the Premier League last season and 25 in the year before as the Clarets won promotion.
The Daily Star are reporting that Gray has been told in no uncertain terms that the club cannot pay that sort of money by manager Sean Dyche.
Gray only has a year left on his contract at the Lancashire club, which sees him earn £25,000 a week.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on recruiting Gray to help replace the goals of Romelu Lukaku, should the Belgian, as expected, leave Merseyside. Spurs are also keen to add to their attacking options.
We reported earlier this week that the Clarets have made a bid for Stoke and Republic of Ireland striker Jon Walters as they look for cover and potential replacements for Gray.
