Bournemouth have beaten off a host of Premier League rivals to agree a deal for Bristol City starlet Lloyd Kelly.

The 20-year-old, who can play full-back and centre-half, is regarded as one of the most promising young defenders outside the Premier League.

Everton, Watford, Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Ham were also keen on him – but Bournemouth have now made their move.

We understand a deal has been struck at around £13million.
