TEAMtalk understands Bournemouth have made a sensational £20million bid for Leicester winger Demarai Gray.
There has been speculation surrounding the 21-year-old’s future in the last month with Everton, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund all belived to be tracking the speedy forward.
Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare yesterday insisted Gray was happy at Leicester City after holding talks about his playing time.
“They (Gray’s representatives) came in to have a meeting with the director of football, I wasn’t privy to that,” Shakespeare told the Leicester Mercury, after Leicester’s pre-season defeat at Burton.
“We’ve had conversations, myself and Dimi. It is well-documented. We have spoken about trying to give him more game-time and we are both happy with that.”
But Bournemouth have also been keeping tabs on Gray and have made an offer, which Leicester will have to seriously consider having reportedly priced the player up at £20million.
Gray made 30 appearances in the Premier League for Leicester last season, but only nine of them came as starts.
