EXCLUSIVE: Massive £93m quadruple signing spree on the cards for Wolves

Andre Silva TEAMtalk

TEAMtalk understands Premier League newcomers Wolves are ready to make a huge £93million quadruple splash in the summer transfer market.

Wolves’ Portuguese contingent could be set to expand further and they could be their biggest signings yet in the shape of stars Andre Gomes and Andre Silva.

The Championship winners have already landed Portugal’s number one Rui Patricio this summer and they have agreed a £5-6million fee for Joao Moutinho from Monaco, but landing Gomes and Silva would certainly lay down a marker to the rest of the Premier League.

Striker Silva, 22, is at AC Milan who paid Porto £35million for him last season, but he failed to impress in Serie A last season and Wolves have told the Italians they will give them all their money back on the player – or loan him if they don’t want to sell.

And midfield ace Gomes, 24, is another target with Barcelona open to potential offers, but again he would carry a substantial price tag – similar to that of Silva at around £35million.

Wolves are also maintaining an interest in Middlesbrough flyer Adama Traore and are looking at an £18million deal for the Spaniard, who impressed hugely on Teesside last season.

The speedy right winger, who is contracted to Boro until 2020, is also wanted by Huddersfield, after scoring five times and grabbing 12 assists last season.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted he needs to manage expectations at Wolves, but with Moutinho – another player represented by Jorge Mendes – the first, of potentially four big summer recruits, that may prove difficult.
