Sheffield Wednesday have opened talks with Morgan Fox over a new deal, as they aim to fend off interest in the left-back.
Fox has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Hillsborough, but he is out of contract in the summer.
Fox’s form has seen a host of clubs take a keen interest with Nottingham Forest, Derby County, West Bromwich Albion, Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers amongst the clubs chasing him.
Wednesday boss Garry Monk has been delighted with Fox’s form and is now anxious to see him tied down to a new long-term deal.
Fox has started 19 games in the Championship this season, scoring twice.
Wednesday currently occupy the final play-off spot, and will be looking to remain in the top six at the end of the season.
