Tottenham are ready to raid Holland again – but not Ajax, this time their arch-rivals PSV Eindhoven.

Spurs have enjoyed great success in recruiting from the Premier League in recent years, with Ajax being their primary source of talent spotting – having landed the likes of Christian Eriksen and Davinson Sanchez, both of whom have emerged as top performers for the club.

The acquisition of AZ Alkmaar forward Vincent Janssen has proved less successful, but that has not put Spurs off the Eredivisie market.

They have been strongly linked with Ajax duo Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs De Ligt, but they are already commanding a combined asking price of £100million and TEAMtalk can now reveal that the two players who they are hugely impressed by are PSV duo Jorrit Hendrix and Steven Bergwijn.

Hendrix (23) is a holding midfielder, who can also play in central defence whilst Bergwijn, 20, is a winger. Both have been crucial in PSV recent title success and are seen as crucial parts of Mark van Bommel’s side – but their performances are attracting attention and Spurs are ready to battle for their signatures.
