What’s sick is that Ajax have so many midfielders who would improve us. Apart from Zijech they have Eiting, Gravenberch and van de Beek would all strengthen us through the middle while Neres would be a big improvement on Dan James on the right wing

I’d be happy to see him back, but also wouldn’t lose any sleep if he didn’t return as we are better equipped now than when he left. The positives are that we know that he can cut it in the Premier League, whereas sometimes players come from abroad with great reputations and just, for whatever reason, fail. Also, whenever I’ve seen a Bayern game on TV this season and watched for a bit, he’s always looked really good and runs the game for them.

RH>> I’d say there’s an argument for both as we did buy Alisson and Fabinho with that money and both have been vital cogs in our machine. It’s not that I don’t rate Coutinho. I just don’t see where or how he’s going to fit in with anything; our philosophy, playing style etc. There was an article earlier today where Peter Moore was quoted to have said something to this effect as well.

INTERESTING ROBERTSON COVER IDENTIFIED
Saw the links to Bukayo Saka. Watched this guy a few times and I rate him quite highly. Able to play anywhere down the left side, I think he’d be the ideal long-term cover for Robertson. I still think he needs to do quite a bit of work on his strength, physicality and fitness though.

Looks like Chelsea have agreement to sign Ziyech in the summer for £38m. Seems like a good deal.
He is very similar player to Mahrez who cost £50m

Ziyech would certainly add something different to our squad, he looked a serious player at the bridge and with that left foot we should up our dead ball game significantly! If the reported fee is accurate that’s serious deal this day in age, considering the talk of Sancho for 120m!
I do wonder if we’re seeing Willian´s last months at Chelsea, no deal done yet, talk of Barca interested, bringing in Ziyech to join CHO and Pulisic, theres a lot adding up to him leaving in the summer.

We needs other keeper too and that Alex keeper seems keen. If Kepa stays then it will be great completion and cover against injuries. Not withstanding, rumours are going around that Kepa could go out on loan

A proper DoF will have a network in the market who knows which players are suited to his style of play and imo he with his network should take care of the scouting at Man United too. Sorry to say Ole has neither of this just have a look at his 3 signings.
A RB who cant attack,a slow oaf as a CB and a duracell rabbit on the wing. Cant have Ole as DoF boys simple as that.
Our transfer strategy sucks if we have any at all. Our right side of attack is appalling and its been like this for many many years. So when i read that Chelsea have captured Hakim Zijech it makes me sick i just want to puke.

I’m quite excited for this summer. If we do only end up signing Werner I’d be quite satisfied with that. Not expecting much anyway with the plans for expanding Anfield advancing this week. Hats off to FSG for delivering everything we could have hoped for and then some. Expecting Minamino, Jones, Elliott, Williams, VDB and 1 of Larouci or Lewis to feature more prominently next season so they’ll be like new signings. It’ll be great to see a group of youngsters brought through for a change.

ARSENAL V NEWCASTLE PREDICTIONS
So i am hoping that with the break and a bit of time to work with the lads we will actually boss this game AND pick up 3 nice points! newcastle have many returning injuries but have been off form of late, our new CB is pushing for a start apparently with the only concern fitness, lets hope for a nice home win

this wont be an easy game as many of teh top 6 have found this season.
If anything Newcastle are better under Bruce than they were Rafa, much more stel and determination.
We should win and like you i hope the break gave Arteta the chance to really drill home his ideas and requirements from each player. I will go with Arsenal win but not a big score 1-0 or 2-1.
Team for me would be Leno, Bellerin, Luiz, Mari, saka, Tor, Xhaka, Ozil, Martinelli, Aubs, Pepe.

any news on when tierny might be back, Ska has done very well but id rather see a proper fit Tierny, but we do need ot give him time to get fully fit and over the injuries
Pepe needs to start stepping up a bit now too but im still hopeful, a small break does wonders
