On Wednesday, Leeds United unveiled their new club crest for the 2018/19 centenary season. Fan reaction has been mixed, to say the least…
The club claim they “consulted more than than 10,000 people connected to Leeds United” over a rigorous six-month campaign, through “digital surveys, one-on-one and group interviews and meetings with legends, current players, club staff, the owner, partners and representatives from the Leeds and Yorkshire communities”.
The new crest replaces the current shield-shaped logo and depicts the ‘Leeds Salute’ which has become synonymous with the club’s supporters.
