Marouane Fellaini: Has hit out at Jamie Carragher

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has hit out at Jamie Carragher for questioning him.

The big Belgian has attracted his fair share of criticism from Sky pundits Carragher and Gary Neville for his playing style.

However, Fellaini has not held back, and has instead questioned how the former Liverpool star can talk follow the headlines in March.

Carragher was suspended by Sky after being captured on camera spitting at a 14-year-old girl after Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils.

“How can someone like Jamie Carragher dare to question me?” Fellaini told Sport/Foot.

“The guy spat from his car on a girl after a Manchester-Liverpool match.

“You know, critics help you progress, you end up working more, you want to show them they are wrong.”

Asked about the fans getting on his back, Fellaini added: “It’s happened once. Everyone exaggerates when it comes to this.

“It was against Tottenham when I came on, a week after I gave away a penalty against Everton.

“In the end, I know one thing, and the fans do too: I’ve played an important role in all the trophies the club has won in recent years.”

Fellaini also revealed to the magazine his belief that he is close to winning his game of poker with United after revealing the club made a big mistake.
