Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City target Federico Chiesa is “happy” at Fiorentina.
The talented 20-year-old striker has just enjoyed his best ever season in Serie A where he helped La Viola finish eighth, with Chiesa scoring six times in 36 Serie A appearances.
That has led to linked with three of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming Fiorentina have tried to put off suitors by raising his asking price to an eye-watering €70million.
Now though the club’s joint-owner Diego Della Valle has claimed there is no reason for Chiesa to leave.
“I don’t know anything, I can talk as a fan, but the President is my brother Andrea,” he told FirenzeViola.it.
“The lad is looking great, plus he has the perfect father. He’s happy at Fiorentina. Where else should he go?”
Chiesa, who has five Italy caps, was reportedly the subject of a failed €60m bid from Inter on Tuesday and that marks a significant raise from the alleged £44million Chelsea were quoted earlier this year when they first held talks with the player and his agent.
