Firm Liverpool stance forces LaLiga giants to turn to €40m Chelsea star
Liverpool’s firm stance on a £27m forward has forced Valencia to turn to a Chelsea striker, according to a report.
The Daily Mail claims that the LaLiga side have interest in Divock Origi, but states that they were quoted £27million to sign the Reds frontman.
It is believed that Jurgen Klopp will allow the Belgium international to leave this summer, along with Danny Ings, Marko Grujic, Sheyi Ojo, Lazar Markovic, Simon Mignolet and Pedro Chirivella
However, the asking price has caused Valencia to cool their interest in Origi, and now they are apparently looking at Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.
Also a Belgium international, Batshuayi is in search of consistent game time after spending last season on loan at Dortmund.
Italian outlet Tuttosport recently claimed that Chelsea would request €40m to allow the 24-year-old to leave amid links with Napoli, while Everton have also been tipped to make a loan move for the former Marseille star.
