First Van Dijk, now Liverpool target £260m trio to boost Champions League hopes
After completing the £75m of Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool reportedly have three more names on their January shortlist.
The Reds sealed a world-record £75 million deal for Van Dijk earlier in the week, but according to Italian outlet Calciomercato they are not finished yet.
They claim that Jurgen Klopp is eyeing moves for Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka, Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Monaco forward Thomas Lemar.
The first two are also reportedly being chased by Juventus, while Goretzka has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, with both Manchester clubs apparently keen on Milinkovic-Savic too.
The Lazio man was allegedly the subject of a £170m bid from Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the month, while Lemar was close to sealing a £90m move to Arsenal, and Goretzka is set to leave Schalke on a free transfer.
Liverpool are looking to reinforce their squad in order to boost their chances of finishing in the top four again. They currently sit in fourth place, but Spurs and Arsenal are just a point behind.
