Flamengo chief confirms next destination of Man Utd, Liverpool target

Lucas Paqueta has admirers from all across Europe, but it seems that AC Milan have won the race to sign the Flamengo star – general director reveals.
The 21-year-old has risen to prominence very quickly: now a Brazilian international, Paqueta was subjected to interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Barcelona.
The saga has taken various turns, with both Paqueta and Flamengo biding their time over any decision. Gennaro Gattuso’s men were the early front-runners, with a representative of the player having travelled to Europe and agreeing a €35 million deal.
It was later reported that that the Catalan giants were confident in signing the skilful playmaker, as Ernesto Valverde’s men continued their raid on South American football.
Both Liverpool and Manchester United have suffered similar setbacks in their pursuits of players recently, Polish hotshot Krzysztof Piatek looks destined to stay in Italy, whereas Long time United target Gareth Bale has reportedly been offered to Chelsea as part of a deal of a potential Eden Hazard deal.
