Fletcher ton-up in Cherries win
Fletcher struck a first-half brace to bring up a century of goals and add to strike partner Jeff Goulding’s double to lift the Cherries further away from the League Two drop zone.
Veteran Fletcher got the ball rolling inside the first five minutes when Goulding fed him from the edge of the area and the muscular frontman drilled his finish low into the corner of Rhys Evans’ goal.
Bradford hit back as Matthew Clarke’s first goal in 14 months from a Nicky Law free-kick restored parity but from then on it was Bournemouth’s game.
They found themselves back in front in the 39th minute as midfielder Mark Molesley’s dummy and disguised pass found Fletcher lurking in space to dispatch a fine finish.
A minute later Goulding arrowed a shot past Evans and six minutes into the second half the contest was over as Goulding claimed his second after man-of-the-match Fletcher helped on a long ball up-field for the striker to run free and finish once more.
