Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a “top class striker” according to Huddersfield boss David Wagner, who believes the striker has everything to be a success in England.
The Gabon international is reportedly closing in on a deal to take him to Arsenal before the transfer deadline, in a deal believed to be worth £60m to Borussia Dortmund.
Aubameyang joined Dortmund in 2013 whilst Wagner was still in charge of the club’s reserve team, and has spoken of what the forward can bring to the Gunners in the Premier League.
“He will be top class. He is a top-class striker, goalscorer – he has everything,” said Wagner.
“The club who will sign him can be very happy for sure. I really like this player.”
When asked about whether he could tempt a player of Aubameyang’s quality to the Terriers, he stated: “I am not a dreamer! I do not waste my energy and time with something that will never happen.”
