Former Liverpool star offers reason for Barcelona’s abnormal form

Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho has no worries over his current side’s form despite their recent domestic struggles.

Coutinho swapped Anfield for the Nou Camp in January as he completed a £142m move to the Nou Camp.

The Catalan giants are on a tough run of form, having drawn with Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Girona as well as losing to Leganes since their last LaLiga win.

Coutinho however is not worried despite describing their recent results as ‘abnormal’.

“No, I’m not worried in the slightest. In regards to Barcelona, we’re amongst the leaders and we’ve started the Champions League well,” he told Sport.

“It’s true that we’ve gone four matches without a victory and that isn’t normal. But this is just the start of a long season where a lot of things can happen.”
