Mame Biram Diouf could return alongside Ibrahim Afellay for Stoke’s Capital One Cup third-round tie against Championship Fulham on Tuesday.
Stoke striker Diouf may be back in contention for Tuesday’s clash at Craven Cottage while winger Afellay returns from suspension.
Diouf sat out Saturday’s draw against Leicester to rest minor hamstring and groin problems and the Potters are hopeful he will be available for the trip to Craven Cottage.
Midfielder Charlie Adam sits out the final match of his three-game ban while the club will assess forward Bojan Krkic’s condition after his successful return from long-term injury at the weekend.
