Furious Hector Bellerin linked with summer transfer to Spain

Hector Bellerin is chasing a return to Barcelona after being left furious over the weekend, claim reports.

Bellerin is apparently angry after being dropped by Arsene Wenger just two hours before Sunday’s defeat at Brighton.

The Sun report the right-back had trained with the squad for the previous two days in preparation for the match but Wenger replaced him with Callum Chambers at the last minute.

And Italian publication Tuttosport claim the 22-year-old could be in line to return to Barca after Juventus pulled out of the running to sign him.

The Serie A giants could not meet his wage demands and have now turned their attentions to Man Utd’s Matteo Darmian.

Bellerin is under contract until 2023 and is on a reported £100,000 a week after extending his Gunners deal in November 2016.

At the time he said: “I’ve been here a long time and feel like this is my home; I am happy to be a Gunner for many more years.”

Things have changed now though for the Barcelona-born star and the Italian source claim Barcelona have a free run at signing the player this summer.

Bellerin, who recently blasted the role Arsenal FanTV has played in all the negative press of late, was refused a move to Barcelona last summer, according to the Sun.
