Shock Galatasaray move for Arsenal target depends on Champions League

Galatasaray are chasing in-demand Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, according to reports.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Crystal Palace are believed to have registered their interest in the Scotland winger, who will be out of contract on June 30.

In April sources told TEAMtalk that Arsenal were in pole position for Fraser and they were confident of securing his signature when his contract expires.

And more recently the Daily Mail.claimed the 26-year-old was heading for Arsenal after failing to secure a move to The Emirates last summer

Now though a new suitor has come to the table, according to Aksam with Galatasaray are preparing to make the winger an offer.

The Turkish outfit’s head coach Fatih Terim is an admirer of Fraser, who was a bargain £400,000 recruit from Aberdeen seven years ago.

The Daily Record also have the story and they reference “reports in Turkey” claiming Fraser has agreed to enter into talks with Galatasaray if they win a Champions League spot when their season resumes next month.

The Gunners, under Unai Emery’s tutelage, almost landed Fraser last term and Fraser admitted that the speculation linking him with North London had affected him.

Fraser said: “Maybe it hasn’t helped. Subconsciously, you might think about it. I’m just trying to get on with my work. Every player says that.”
