Gers maintain gap by~crushing Hearts

The clash at Tynecastle was supposed to represent a tough test for Rangers but instead, Hearts were ripped apart as the Gers maintained their four-point lead at the top of the SPL.

Darcheville claimed the opener when he cut inside from the left before squeezing the shot inside the far post from a tight angle (25).

Darcheville’s mis-kicked shot found the back of the net (43) to double the visitors lead before he was withdrawn for Novo at the interval.

Novo was on the park for seven minutes when he got the Gers’ third, bundling home Charlie Adam’s delivery.

Adam was again the provider with 69 minutes gone and this time Novo produced a cheeky back-heel finish from six yards to round off the win.
