Grumpy Mourinho provides agitated response to questions in presser

Jose Mourinho was in no mood to entertain a certain line of questioning during his pre-Juventus press conference on Monday.

The Manchester United manager was happy to talk about his future, having been linked with Real Madrid.

However, Mourinho was less receptive when it came to discussing particular individuals, aside from Alexis Sanchez.

“I don’t like this press conference. I don’t want to speak about Paul Pogba, about individuals,” he said when asked about whether the Frenchman had improved since he left Juventus in 2016.

“I’m going to play against one of the biggest teams in the world and that’s what motivates me and brings me here and I think the press conference is going in other directions and if it is I want to go in other direction.”

Earlier, the United manager was agitated by a question about Cristiano Ronaldo, saying that he didn’t “want to speak to Spanish journalists only interested in Real Madrid and Ronaldo”.

“I thought Cristiano is on a level where he does not need these questions and these answers,” he said when asked how he rated his fellow Portuguese.

“He is one of the best players of all time. Nobody can tell different than that. He is one of the best of all time. It is as simple as that.”
